-
What name do you go by besides Mom?
-
Just about anything. I'm a little desperate for attention from anyone who doesn't call me Mom!
-
What part of the world do you live in?
-
Currently stationed in Seattle
-
Since when have you been on this journey known as Motherhood?
-
10 years and loving each day
-
How many people depend on you?
-
2 kids, 3 cats, 1 dog, 1 husband, 1 mother-in-law, 1 brother, 3 sisters, 1 mom, 1 dad, 1 step-dad, 6 nieces, 2 nephews, the lady down the street, the school parent's association, and now Barack Obama!
-
What do you know now that you didn't know before you were a mom?
-
Just about everything - Talk about on the job training!!!!
-
What is your idea of perfect happiness or your happy place?
-
Being with my kids except when they drive me crazy at which point my happy place is definitely somewhere else where I can't be reached, maybe a beach where no one knows me and doesn't care about the extra 20 lbs around my mid-section!
-
What is your biggest frustration or struggle?
-
Were you not listening? The extra 20 lbs and not actually being able to ever go to a beach when the kids are driving me crazy!
-
If you could invite three people to dinner who would you invite (don't worry, you don't have to cook!)?
-
A chef, a maid and a driver. I'd leave the chef to feed the kids, the maid to clean up after them and the driver to take my husband and I out on the town.
-
List three things you like, list three things you dislike.
-
Beautiful hot beaches (not the wet, dreary ones in Seattle), Chocolate Cheesecake (hence the extra 20 lbs!), my family - Not necessarily in that order.
Things I don't like should be obvious to you by now, my muffin top waist, cooking, cleaning. I could go on, but you said, three.
-
What do you really want that you don't have right now?
-
Skinny thighs and my hollow tummy back. Yes, really. It used to be concave. Don't be jealous. Now when I lie down, it just puddles to the sides like overflowing jello, keeping my once perky breasts company. I'm sure that was too much information. Good luck wiping that image from your memory banks! Bet I know what you really want now that you don't have - Amnesia!!!
